Skirt block pattern generator from your measurements

In short: A skirt block (sloper) is the basic fitted skirt you trace to design other skirts. Enter four measurements and this tool drafts the front and back block with darts, a waistband, seam allowance and notches, shows a free on-screen preview, and prints true to scale on A4 or Letter. Preview free; the printable PDF is $4.99 for this style or $9.99 for a 7-day pass to every style (one style is free each day).

Questions

What is the difference between a skirt block and a sloper?

None — block (UK) and sloper (US) both mean the basic close-fitting pattern with no style added, used as the starting point for new designs.

Does the block include seam allowance?

Yes, the PDF has both the cutting line and the stitching line, so you can sew it directly or trace the stitching line if you prefer blocks without allowance.

How accurate is a block drafted from measurements?

It is a good starting point but every body is different. Expect to adjust the darts or side seam after the first toile; that is normal for any block, drafted by hand or by software.
