What you get in the PDF

| Fit | Drafted from your own numbers (cm or inches), not graded from a size chart. Finished waist, hip and length are printed so you can check the ease. |
|---|---|
| Markings | Cutting line and stitching line, notches, darts, grain line with arrows, fold edges, piece names and “Cut 2, mirror pair” instructions. |
| Home printing | Tiled A4 or US Letter pages with a cover page (10 cm and 4 inch test squares, page map, piece list, sewing notes), tile labels and a 5 cm bar on every page. Empty pages are skipped. |
| Projector / copy shop | Single-sheet A0 PDF (grows if the pattern is bigger), with a 10 cm square to calibrate the projector. |
| Scale check | Before release, sample PDFs are rendered at 10 px/mm and the printed squares and pattern lines are measured: within 0.5 mm over 79 cm. How we check. |
| Privacy | Measurements never leave your browser for the preview; they are sent only to make the PDF and are not stored. |
Free first: print the 1-page printer test and check the square before you buy anything.
Questions
Can I get a sewing pattern drafted from my own measurements for free?
Yes for the preview: every style is drafted and shown on screen for free, and one style's full PDF is free each day. The printable PDF for other styles is $4.99 per style or $9.99 for a 7-day pass to all styles.
Does the PDF print at the right size?
Yes, when printed at 100% / Actual size. Each PDF has a 10 cm and a 4 inch test square on the cover and a 5 cm bar on every page; we check the output by rendering it and measuring the lines (see About).
Does it include seam allowance and notches?
Yes. Every piece has the cutting line, the stitching line, notches, darts, grain line, fold marks and cutting instructions (e.g. 'Cut 2, mirror pair').
Can I use a projector?
Yes. Every purchase includes an A0 single-sheet PDF you can project or send to a copy shop, with a 10 cm square for calibration.
Do I need an account?
No. Drafting runs in your browser; measurements stay in your browser unless you share a link. Payment gives you a receipt code stored in this browser.
Which styles are available?
Pencil skirt, skirt block, A-line skirt, circle skirt, bodice block, T-shirt and elastic-waist trousers. More are being added.
